It should also be remembered that the more layers of plasterboard used, the higher the soundproofing coefficient will be.

The distance between the main ceiling and the frame also positively affects the soundproofing of the ceiling. The greater the distance, the higher the soundproofing coefficient.

All seams and gaps must be sealed with putty or sealants, as sound spreads just like water.
